Total cost is $2,697.00 once accepted into the Cert II Airconditioning Hygiene Course and this covers all theory and practical training days. There are no other fees.

The government requires an RTO to be running for a minimum of 3 years before they can apply for any funding/subsidies. We are a reasonably new RTO and have not reached that milestone yet, and we will be applying for this as soon as we can.

Currently there are no payment plans in place. We are researching some providers to see if they can offer this to our students at a reasonable cost.

We are asked this question often.  And it’s the one question we can’t answer for you, as it depends on the amount of time you have available to invest in your personal development each week, if it’s 1 hour, it will take a while, if it’s 10 hrs you be done in no time. ASQA allows up to 17 weeks for a Certificate II, however, it can be completed sooner than that as it is self-paced.

All theory learning, and assessment is delivered online and once completed there are 2 consecutive days of practical face to face training and a final day of face-to-face practical assessments approximately 4-6 weeks later. The face-to-face days are held in Mackay.

All the theory is delivered online so you can work through it at your own pace. The face-to-face training and assessment days are held in Mackay on a regular basis.

You will be introduced to the equipment and consumables commonly used in the HVAC Hygiene Industry, that are readily available on the market. The range of equipment & consumables that are available is quite extensive and you will be able to find something that will fit your budget and needs from a supplier near where you are located.

This training is equipment heavy and requires a lot of setting up so our students can have access to a range of equipment. This makes it impossible to pop up a training venue in other locations due to the cost of setting the equipment up. We already have this set up at our premises in Mackay.

As a government accredited course, there are strict requirements to ensure every individual student has time to practice and apply a new practical skill between being taught the skill and being assessed as competent in that skill. The online logbook that you will complete between the Practical Training days, and the final Practical Assessment Day forms part of the evidence of the skill acquisition. This will ensure you are ready to be assessed as competent before you return to Mackay.

There are no prerequisites for this training.

You will not need to provide any equipment to undertake the training. All you need is a computer/laptop/tablet and an internet connection to access the learning portal and upload assessment information from home or work.

After you have completed the Practical Days of training you will require equipment and tools of the trade to be able to perform this work and complete your logbooks. You will be able to place an order prior to attending the training for pick up while attending the practical training days if you wish to purchase from us or find a supplier in your area.

You will have the skills to be able to undertake the aircon cleaning work efficiently and safely. You will need to check all legislative requirements in your home state about running a business and ensure you obtain insurance and advice from your accountant.

You move through to our online enrolment form to pre-enrol into 10829NAT Certificate II in Air conditioning Hygiene. 

We will email a link to you within 1 business day for you to finish setting up your learner portal along with instructions on the process for your entry interview with our head trainer David Jones. These interviews are conversational and usually run for 10-15 minutes. You will have 7 days to complete the interview questionnaire and book your interview time, or your enrolment application will lapse in our system, and you will need to commence the process again.
