This 2 day practical training session will allow students to develop their skills safely working with split-system air conditioning systems, including ducted systems, of up to 24 kilowatts and dismantle, clean, identify and treat corrosion in, and reassemble these systems.
Once the student has successfully completed the structured off-site component (i.e. successfully completed all learning activities and knowledge questions), they will be required to book in for a 2 day practical training session at the Mackay campus.
The 2 day practical training session will allow students to develop their skills safely working with split-system air conditioning systems, including ducted systems, of up to 24 kilowatts and dismantle, clean, identify and treat corrosion in, and reassemble these systems.
The two day session is guided by a session plan.
Students must book in at least two weeks prior to each practical session (offered twice a month). No more than 12 students may attend each session.
